Overview

PENNEP is seeking a creative and analytical Associate Digital Marketing Specialist to join our client's dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's social media accounts, creating engaging content, and driving online engagement to enhance our brand presence and achieve our marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of the organization's social media strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant networks.
• Help create, curate, and schedule engaging and newsworthy content that aligns with the organization's brand voice and journalistic standards.
• Monitor and respond to social media interactions, engaging with followers and addressing inquiries or issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest social media best practices, trends, tools, and technologies relevant to the news industry.
• Support the editorial team in developing content calendars and ensuring timely delivery of social media content.
• Assist in designing and creating visually appealing graphics, videos, and other multimedia content using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Help write compelling and accurate copy for social media posts, ensuring consistency in tone and adherence to journalistic integrity.
• Work closely with the editorial team, graphic designers, and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and brand alignment.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and content.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree in these fields).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective audiences.
• Basic understanding of social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with a strong eye for design and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing techniques is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for learning and staying updated with the latest trends in digital marketing
