About the Group /Division: . MAM: Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) is the Asset Management business. MAM is a full-service asset manager, providing clients with access to a diverse range of capabilities and products including infrastructure, real assets, equities, fixed income, liquid alternatives & multi-asset investment management solutions . The role in discussion is with DigiTech - one of the teams in MAM\'s most profitable division known as Macquarie Asset Management - Private Markets. MAM Private Markets is world\'s largest infrastructure asset manager and manages approximately AUD 870.8 billion of assets globally. About DigiTech . DigiTech team is one of the fastest growing team in MAM - Private Markets and is part of MAM Centre of Excellence based in Gurugram. . DigiTech supports various teams across MAM in their automations and process improvement initiatives to help business bring in operational efficiencies and maximise profits. It comprises of people from Finance background with having software/ application development knowledge. Role Summary: Opportunity for a technical professional with experience in delivering innovative solutions to bring efficiency in multiple processes. In this role you will work closely with senior members of technology/ business teams in MAM to build reporting solutions using various tools and technologies. Detailed Role Requirements: You will be responsible to: 1. Automate processes . Work closely with the Business and Technology teams to understand business problems and propose viable solutions considering existing data and platform limitations . Understand and build command on multiple reporting tools like Workiva, Vermillion and ETL tools like Power Query and Alteryx . Maintain process and system documentation and user manual for the solutions built . Provide continuous support to stakeholders on the delivered projects and resolve their queries 2. Change management . Assist in implementation of new requirements, enhancements, and validations . Support ad-hoc requirements from business . Identify further opportunities to improve processes . Keep up to date on industry best practises and emerging tools and techniques 3. Data quality . Manage and drive data quality and integrity through checks and validations . Monitor Data Quality Issue log, collate data quality issues and drive remediation To be successful in this role you will have: Essential . B.Tech. /B.E. (preferably in IT or Computer Science) . Working experience in Microsoft Excel with ability to work on advanced Excel formulae . Excellent logical ability and communication skills . Knowledge of SQL query writing and handling is must . Good analytical skills with demonstrated experience in effective problem solving . Strong technical inclination and ability to pick up new tools / technologies . Have a strong desire to work closely with the business and technology teams . Be able to work in an environment that has changing priorities . The ability and self-confidence to work independently and take ownership Preferable . Experience in excel based automation using VBA Macro is an added advantage . Working experience in Financial services Domain and product knowledge of financial instruments, particularly investment funds .
