OPPORTUNITY

• Open Position : Associate Coordinator - Centre
• Preferred : Female candidate
• Location : Okhla Phase 2 (walking distance from Harkesh Nagar Okhla Metro Station)
• Reporting : President, PRITHAK FOUNDATION
• Working Hours : 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Weekly Schedule : 6 days in a week | Monday to Saturday
• Weekly Off : Sunday
• Compensation : Based on the experience of the candidate
• Probationary Period : 3 months

As a Centre Coordinator, you will work directly within the community, representing our organization and encouraging meaningful connections with individuals, volunteers, partner NGOs and other organizations. Join us in making a difference!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Looking after the daily operations and functions of the centre.
• Ensure that the quality of the learning, classrooms, and teaching are up to standards.
• Creating, maintaining and updating registers, forms, rules, guidelines, policies etc.
• Making the centre a welcoming, learning driven and comfortable atmosphere for the young learners of the community.
• Create a freely sharing and interacting environment with students, teachers, educators, and volunteers
• Create a common hub of peer learning centre where students can read, write, learn, enjoy, discuss, help, share with each other.
• Guide, mentor students and facilitate dialogue among the students and organize exciting activities inside and outside the classroom.
• Teaching some classes. And identifying, training and monitoring other teachers & volunteers to deliver quality and diverse classes.
• Increase student's enrolments in various programs/classes and managing SIM-Student Information Management.
• Organising Monthly Facilitators Mulakaat, PTM, Team Trainings, Awareness sessions & workshops etc.
• Be the face and heart of the day to days' operations at the centre. Arranging alternatives, becoming a substitute, appointment of new team members/volunteers etc.
• Make the Centre grow and add more interesting classes, sessions and events for students. And develop new classes/programs as per the needs of the students/youth in the community.
• Planning, executing, monitoring and coordination of programs like Odyssey, VIRA & other events and its activities.
• Preparing daily and monthly reports. Listen to feedback for improvements and generate ideas for new initiatives.
• Create a good pool of partner Volunteers/NGOs/NPOs.
• Other tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.

ADDITIONAL ROLES:

• Creating and executing new learning opportunities for our students.
• Preparing a monthly report. Listen to feedback and generate ideas for new initiatives.
• Support in writing proposals and applications for Grants / fellowships / scholarships etc.

REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS:

• Strong passion for community service, change-making, and acts of kindness.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Commitment to creating positive change at both individual and community levels.
• Innovative mindset with a passion for exploring new ways to facilitate learning.
• Ability to independently initiate projects, demonstrating proactivity and effective multitasking skills.
• Skilled in working with diverse individuals from various backgrounds and cultures.
• Previous experience in learner-cantered teaching techniques that encourage mutual respect and collaboration between teachers and students.

REPORTING:

The Centre Coordinator Cum Facilitator will report and work with Mr. Abhay Raj Singh, President & Chief Mentor of the PRITHAK FOUNDATION.

SALARY:

Based on the experience of the candidate. Between 10-15K but not limited to a potential candidate.
