We're looking for an Associate Contracts Counsel to join our team!
Phreesia, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Counsel based in India to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of legal processes related to vendor contracts, BAAs, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). This role requires a minimum of 5 years of legal experience, fluency in English, and the ability to work Eastern Standard Time hours.
What You'll Do:• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, service agreements, and NDAs.
• Provide legal advice and support to various business units within the company on contract matters.
• Ensure all contracts are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
• Work closely with the global legal team to align strategies and enhance efficiency.
• Handle contract disputes and negotiations with professionalism and legal expertise.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation that may affect the company and its operations.
• Assisting in the consolidation of all contracts to facilitate the training of artificial intelligence (AI) systems. and related processes.


What You'll Bring:• Law degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract law, with a strong background in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts.
• Licensed to practice law in India.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work flexible hours to overlap with Eastern Standard Time.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
• Experience in the healthcare or technology sectors is a plus.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.


The role requires people to work in night shifts.
Shift time: 3:30 pm to 12:30 am IST
