ROLE SAP BASIS Junior Consultant ROLE DESCRIPTION Follow ASAP methodology in implementation projects Perform installations at the customer location as agreed and designed by Senior consultant Troubleshoot technical problems Ensure that the required checklist is filled on regular basis by level 1 support Resolve issues that are escalated by support team in a timely manner Ensure that issues are escalated to appropriate people, team lead or next support level, in a timely manner Learn all new techniques required in the project Assist team members to achieve shared goals Keep up to date on the technology development Adhere to all the standards and procedures set by the Quality department. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Should have 2 to 3 years SAP BASIS experience Must have worked on at least 1 support project at various levels Must possess at least 1 end to end implementation experience TECHNICAL SKILLS Must have handled the tasks like Installation, Kernel update, support package application, enhancement package installation, database backup, restore, reorganization Should possess Java administration experience of troubleshooting, support package application etc Strong knowledge of Operating Systems and Cluster management Basic experience in Solution Manager Knowledge of SAP Business suite products Working knowledge of SAP Netweaver products like EP, PI, BW, MDM Excellent in documentation Should be able to check SAP Marketplace for notes, application of notes, create incidents, update systems SOFT SKILLS Proactive Quest for Learning Good Analytical Skills Teamwork Customer Sensitivity Excellent Verbal AND Written Communication Positive attitude with flexibility and maturity to work in a challenging client environment buddy to a new joiner.
