This role is located in Chennai, TN - HYBRIDIn this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Applies expertise and judgement in providing quality, and occasionally complex client service and support to internal and external clients on a daily basis, including problem resolution, transaction processing, reconciliations and accounting services, and updates to client accounts in a timely manner.
  • Performs a variety of operational tasks in a product or functional area, including processing updates to client accounts or company records and interpreting and handling exceptions. Investigates and corrects errors in client accounts. Conducts independent analysis and policy interpretation.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for clients and executes all correspondent requisites in a timely and accurate manner with an understanding of the underlying business and specific client needs.
  • May review and check work of other Client Processing Support staff and help resolve escalated issues.
  • Responsible for the quality and completion of own work.
  • No direct reports; provides guidance to less experienced team members as needed.
  • The primary goal of MCS is to enhance the BNY Mellon Asset Servicing/client relationship by providing professional and expert service to quickly and accurately handle a broad range of customer service issues. Examples of service include an individual account issue, to a dealer commission question, to a bad price correction, MCS will either address the issues directly or coordinate efforts with other departments to attain resolution.
  • Ticket processors are required to support the problem resolution function within Management Company Support (MCS). This is a critical need in order to meet service levels and continue to provide problem resolution services without interruption. The role focuses on correcting financial and non-financial errors made at the shareholder/account level. Primary responsibilities include full review to determine error origination, correcting the error and preventing future reoccurrences. MCS reps play a significant role in mitigating risk, both financial and reputational, by resolving errors timely and accurately.
To be successful in this role, were seeking the following:
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 3-5 years of total work experience preferred; experience in Transfer Agency preferred
