TodayAkanksha runs 26 schools in partnership with governments of Mumbai, Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Navi Mumbai and Nagpur serving ~13,000 children in grades Jr Kg - Gr 10.Position Summary: As the Associate - Human Resources (HR), you will be responsible forsupporting the HR team in a variety of HR activities including Recruitment, Onboarding,Data Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, and other HRinitiatives.You will be reporting to the Assistant Manager - Human Resources (Pune)Overview of the Team: The HR team at Akanksha partners both with school teams and withCentral support functions, to provide high-quality HR support in achieving the organizationsmission and objectives. The HR team is responsible for effective recruitment, performancemanagement and development, and employee engagement at Akanksha, and ensures thatorganizational policies are adhered to at all levels.What your role will entail:\xef\x82\xb7 Supporting Pune location as HR POC in handling the entire HR-related activities forthe allocated schools.\xef\x82\xb7 Sourcing & Recruitment: Responsible for the complete recruitment cycle for entry-level to mid-level roles. Campus hiring and other strategic partnerships forrecruitment purposes.\xef\x82\xb7 Manage Employee Onboarding and effectively induct the new employees into theAkanksha system in collaboration with Managers.\xef\x82\xb7 Collating and providing payroll inputs for salary processing of Employees andconsultants for every pay period.\xef\x82\xb7 Managing Exit process and full and final settlement payout.\xef\x82\xb7 Manage data accurately for the assigned schools. Support the city team in HRAnalytics.\xef\x82\xb7 To have a deep understanding of all HR policies and ensure timely implementation/execution.\xef\x82\xb7 Contribute to the HR team goals and priorities beyond individual goals and priorities.Actively participate and engage in any other initiatives planned by the team.What you need for this PositionExperience:\xef\x82\xb7 1-2 years\' experience in relevant work experience in HR roles.\xef\x82\xb7 Proven experience in Hiring and data management.\xef\x82\xb7 Experience of working in development and non - profit sectors preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:\xef\x82\xb7 Excellent English verbal and written communication skills\xef\x82\xb7 Strong Excel, Word, and Power Point skills\xef\x82\xb7 Self-motivated and attention to detail\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholdersEducation:\xef\x82\xb7 Bachelors/Masters degree (Preferably in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology)Working at The Akanksha FoundationAkanksha is on a mission to build one of the largest and most innovative networks of schoolsin India, serving children from low-income communities, to maximize their potential.
