Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. We offer a broad array of credit cards to meet the needs of individuals and small businesses, including Chase-branded and co-branded cards in partnership with well-known companies and organizations. Merchant Services is a leading provider of payment, fraud and data security for companies, capable of authorizing transactions across global currencies.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the planning, creation and execution of tests for product releases of internal Chase applications
• Partnering with testing leads to manage issues, risks, and status reporting
• Building relationships with product analysts and technical teams to understand release scope
• Procuring and conditioning test data
• Reporting defects and retesting fixes
• Assisting with production validation following release deployments

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who is able to work in a fast paced, results driven environment. Additional qualifications:

• Experience in a Quality Assurance or User Acceptance Testing role with hands-on knowledge of SDLC principles, agile development environment and Quality Assurance methodologies/best practices
• Strong Experience with testing Mainframe applications, test development using Selenium, Java, Cucumber and proficiency working on Mobile apps automation using Sauce labs
• Strong time management skills, with an ability to handle multiple test assignments & prioritize one\'s own work
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze detailed acceptance criteria and follow up with product analysts/stakeholders to clarify any missing or ambiguous items
• Passion for backend functional testing to include meticulous calculation validations
• Written and verbal communication skills - able to present status, facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise, convincing and organized manner
• Flexibility and adaptability - able to quickly and smoothly change direction based upon stakeholder or management direction

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Functional testing automation tools and technologies (Selenium, Java, Cucumber)
• API (Application Programming Interface) test automation (Rest Assured, SoapUI, Postman)
• Databases such as Server,DB2, Cassandra, Aurora
• Experience working on Java and JavaScript, Spring Boot & parallel execution (Selenium Grid)
