The Hubbell Business Solutions functions at Infopark Kochi, provide superior business intelligence, knowledge services and business process solutions across Hubbell divisions and Corporate. IT Services team is spread across Chennai and Kochi.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in Injection molding simulations and plastic product design

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handled Projects independently and solid experience in DFM and Mold flow.
• Collaborating in early stages with product owners and design engineers to perform feasibility checks and optimization through DFMs & Mold flow studies
• Experience in Designing Complicated and cost-effective injection molds and getting first article clearance stage approvals.
• Good presentation skills to explain the problems of samples produced by understanding the products assembly designs and requirements
• Sound Knowledge of plastic design & tooling considerations
• Experience in understanding of Part defects, recommending corrective actions and improvements
• Hands on shop floor/manufacturing experience and preferably injection molding experience related to connector components is desirable

Skills and Experience

• Candidate should have a proven track record in handling injection molding simulations with Autodesk Mold flow/Moldex 3D or any commercial injection molding simulation package.
• Should be proficient in Plastic Part Design, DFM for Plastic Parts, Designing complicated and cost-effective injection molds
• 4 to 6 years of experience and good working knowledge in Injection Molding Simulations and Plastic Product design.
• Experience in Plastic product Die Design and Manufacturing environment background is desirable.

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
