We have over 200 servers on premises to support production, disaster recovery, databases, applications and over 1000 servers in Lab environment. IS&T is transformational not only for BMC but also for the customer experience, because we give a 360 degrees view to the customer about the products they should know, opportunities in the pipeline, and any service issues outstanding with the customer. We use cutting-edge technologies to manage BMC's infrastructure and showcase it to the customers - program is called BMC on BMC!BMC is looking for a System Administrator to join our amazing team!In this role, you will be a part of a team of system administrators, responsible for providing Windows, Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker & Virtualization support on VMware & Cloud technology. You will maintain and support all OS platform, Private, and public cloud deployment.Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

• Provide support for TSSA / Bladelogic in AWS, Azure, Oracle & Google Cloud Environments

• Troubleshoot, Support, and maintain Public and Private cloud

• Troubleshoot performance degradation or loss of service as time critical incidents

• Assess and communicate risks based on complexity, resource and timeline constraints

• OS Compliance and patching for Windows, Linux and Virtualization Platforms

• Support and maintain private and public cloud deployment xe2x80xa2 Build and provisioning customer environments on AWS/Virtual infrastructure xe2x80xa2 Work in cross functional teams globally

To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• Experience in System Administration

• Experience in Linux & Windows operation systems

• Experience in VMware

• Experience in scripting

• Experience in TSSA / Bladelogic

• Experience in Change & Incident Management Tools

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work as a part of a team as well as independently.

• Problem-solving skills mixed with creative thinking to reach out of the box solutions.

• Availability for on-calls shifts.

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:

• Experience with public cloud, such as AWS, Azure, Oracle and Google cloud

• Experience in containerization technologies, such as docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, OpenShift and Rancher

• ITIL, MCSE, AWS Certifications
