Scope of responsibilities include both application Creo, Design/review mechanical components/subsystems to ensure consistent design standard practices and downstream mechanical model use around the world. The role not only includes the creation of methods and practices, but also the ability to clearly articulate and promote latest tool application and solutions to regional teams. Finally, the selected candidate will need to put forward efficient and effective training programs to ensure a timely and sustainable transformation.On a typical day you will:Responsible for globalization of design data for elevator mechanical module groups Design data creation of Order data sheet, Parametric CAD parts, Drawings, Interface document, key specifications documents and concept design.Ability to benchmark, Consolidate, analysis module variants globally and propose a best solution in terms of standardization to module owners and regional stake holders.Should work closely with global stake holders like China/US/European countries and ensure successful project deployment.Setup and establish module variants baseline dashboard and track changes respective to module variants. Collaborates with respective chief Engineers/ module owners and support them for design and data readiness activities as per the road map.Supports in establishment of new tools and methods using windchill and CREO to improve engineer productivity globally.Collaborates with Platform data lead & Data engineers in creation & verification of new module variant creation as per global standards, strives to avoid duplication of module variant in any upcoming platform projects.Identify the cost reduction opportunities by value engineering process and benchmarking, Support for hiring new talents and mentor them with necessary coaching and training. People Management, Performance review, People Motivation Good interpersonal and communication skills Creative and open mind, work hard and energetic, good teamwork and ethical behavior.Key Measurements:Delivery of mechanical components & sub-system design meeting OTIS standards of safety, quality, and design. Deliver mechanical designs on time meeting requirements and within cost targets.
