Job Description


Manages a team of Staff employees and has accountability for their performance and results. Sets performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions.
Defines a vision for the team in line with the department strategy and operational challenges and translates it into a concrete action plan. Works with a high level of autonomy, with some guidance from Senior Manager.
Acts as a reference across multiple areas, anticipating solutions to complex problems.
Optimizes efficiency based on knowledge and experience with the policies, procedures and business plan.Specific accountabilities:Refine and finalize the Project scope statement as the basis for the future project decisions.
Size the project.
Estimate and identify resources.
Build and manage the Project Core Team.
Identify all activities necessary to produce all project deliverables.
Identify quality measures.
Evaluate project risks and propose mitigation actions.
Commit on scope, planning and budget.
Validate project plans.
Optimise and control overall project performance (schedule, budget and quality).
Raise alerts and find solutions.
Planning and roster management
Collaborate with Deployment team in Operation to align team rosters and schedules based on rollout plans and expected level of support.
Develop and manage attendee lists with clearly defined roles and responsibilities for all planned and support activities.
Ensure all processes have been thoroughly reviewed and communicated to the teams by organizing knowledge-sharing sessions and providing clear communications ahead of the event.
Oversee team rosters to ensure proper allocation and availability of personnel during cutover and rehearsal weeks.
On-site logistic management
Coordinate and oversee on-site activities, including war room setup, meeting room arrangements, and other facilities management for rehearsal and cutover weeks.
- Manage access provisioning and logistical arrangements such as transportation, accommodations, and meals for on-site personnel.
- Ensure virtual teams are properly set up and engaged through the necessary chat and Teams channels.
Rehearsal and Cutover activities communication and reporting
- Ensure alignment with the communication plan managed by the Operation Deployment team to maintain consistent and effective communication throughout the process.
- Ensure daily progress during rehearsals and production cutover activities is communicated through regular updates to stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate status meetings owned by RnD, and ensure the right participants are present for meetings managed by other groups where RnD presence is needed.
- Act as a primary liaison with RnD teams to ensure all parties are up-to-date on rehearsal and rollout statuses.
Standardize our practices
- Standardize processes to support these types of activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices. Provide inputs to improve tooling efficiency when applicable.
- Conduct post-cutover evaluations and provide insights to enhance future deployment processes.

  • Communicate and report to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organise the knowledge transfer during the Transition Phase.
  • For external projects, customer relationship responsibilities such as contract and contract change negotiation and management are included.
