Job Description


Position Overview: As the Communications Lead responsible for both internal and external communications for India, your role is pivotal in shaping and delivering the company\'s messaging to various stakeholders. You will be a key player in ensuring that the communication strategies align with its goals, values, and brand identity. Position reports to the VP, Corporate Communications with matrix reporting relationship into the VP, India Center. Position will be in Hyderabad (strongly preferred) or Bangalore, India. Key Responsibilities: 1.Strategic Planning: .Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that support the India Center objectives. .Collaborate with senior leadership to align communication efforts with the business goals. 2.Internal Communications: .Create and implement internal communication plans to foster a positive and informed workforce. .Craft messages that convey company culture, updates, and important information to employees. .Manage internal tools and channels such as newsletters, intranet, and town hall meetings. 3.External Communications: .Establish and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, including media, clients, partners, and the community. .Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other materials to enhance the unit\'s public image. . Manage AT&T India brand on external/social media platform and h andle media inquiries and serve as a spokesperson when necessary. 4.Content Creation: .Produce engaging and relevant content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing collateral. .Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication materials. 5.Crisis Management: .Develop crisis communication plans and procedures to address potential issues promptly and effectively. .Act as a liaison between the business unit and crisis response teams. 6.Performance Measurement: .Monitor and analyze the impact of communication efforts through metrics and feedback. .Adjust strategies based on data to continuously improve communication effectiveness. 7. Digital Marketing: .Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to reach target audiences. .Utilize social media, email marketing, SEO, and other online external/internal channels to promote, ATT brand and initiatives. Qualifications: . Bachelor\'s degree in communications, public relations, or a related field (Master\'s preferred). . Communications experience within multinational corporation(s) (Technology companies preferred) in India. . Demonstrated ability to be effective within a multi-cultural environment. . Proven experience in communications, preferably in both internal and external roles. . Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. . Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms. . Crisis management experience in the India context is a plus. The Communications Lead plays a vital role in shaping the India Center image and ensuring that internal and external stakeholders receive accurate and compelling information. Success in this role contributes to the unit\'s overall performance and reputation within the industry and community.
