Job Description

Job Summary: The psychology Faculty member will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology , conducting research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and participating in departmental and university activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching:
• Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars in computer science.
• Develop and update curriculum and course materials.
• Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and projects.
• Provide academic advising and support to students.
• Research:
• Conduct independent and collaborative research in psychology .
• Publish research findings in reputable journals.
• Present research at academic conferences and seminars.
• Seek research funding and manage research projects.
• Service:
• Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committees.
• Contribute to the development of the department's academic programs.
• Engage in community outreach and service activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and program development.
• Professional Development:
• Stay current with developments in the field of psychology
• Engage in professional development activities such as attending workshops and conferences.
• Mentor junior faculty and students.
• Other Duties:
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in psychology or related disciplines
• Proven record of high-quality research and teaching.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to academic integrity and excellence.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment
