Qualification - Masters in Wildlife Biology or related subject

Experience : 2 - 5 years





Key Responsibilities:


a) Undertake occupancy surveys in the landscape to assess the presence of tigers and elephants and establish movement patterns.


b) Undertake threat analysis of the identified tiger corridor bottlenecks and the factors affecting the functionality of the corridors.


c) Undertake ground truthing of potential identified elephant and tiger corridors based on the format and methodology agreed upon, and prepare draft corridor conservation plans.


d) Assist in establishing and managing partnerships with individuals and local community-based organizations in the landscape under WII's Green Corridor Champion initiative.


e) Produce periodic reports for submission to different stakeholders.


f) Responsible for monthly activity reports, photographic documentation, maintenance of logbooks of vehicles at the place of posting, photographic documentation of activities, submission of data sheets, etc., as per the requirements of the project.


g) Responsible for field-level governmental and partner liaison at the appropriate level and local public relations needs in consultation with the project head.


h) Responsible for all assets of the organization in the area of activity.
