As a leading financial institution, we are committed to providing our customers with the best banking services and products, and we need a skilled legal professional to help us achieve this goal.Key Responsibilities:- Provide legal advice and support to the retail banking division of the bank- Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to retail banking operations- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to retail banking- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the bank's retail banking operations- Collaborate with other departments and teams to identify and mitigate legal risks- Represent the bank in legal proceedings related to retail banking operations- Develop and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities- Train and educate employees on legal matters related to retail bankingQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry- Strong knowledge of retail banking laws and regulations- Excellent communication and negotiation skills- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research toolsWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
