• Pre-Sales solutioning, blueprinting and design activities for the procurement services portfolio. Demonstrating Subject Matter Expertise in retail space, creating point of views, transformation ideas, digital led automation, and creation of IP.
• The current position is for an AVP who would be required to create and commercialize procurement solutions for prospects in retail vertical and across geographies. Solutions will carry elements of outsourcing, re-engineering/ consulting, analytics, and technology.
• Procurement is a prioritized horizontal for Genpact. This role is critical to winning and execution of new engagements. Will have a significant impact on growth rates
• Provides an opportunity to be a part of business pursuits and engagements across the deal lifecycle
• Focus is beyond business as usual \xe2\x80\x93 opportunity to engage with the external world, prospects, clients to understand developments, benchmark the standard offerings and adapt Genpact\xe2\x80\x99s approach to create high value add offerings

About Source to Pay (S2P) and Indirect Sourcing (IS): S2P supports clients in every sector. Indirect Sourcing is part of S2P whose remit is to provide Sourcing services to Client\xe2\x80\x99s who desire to shift from in-house sourcing teams to an external service provider. IS organized by category groupings based on market/spend taxonomy including Professional Services, Labor Services, MRO, Facilities Management, and IT Services.As part of Genpact\xe2\x80\x99s IS function, this Senior Leader is responsible to lead sourcing execution for categories within Professional Services across multiple Client programs. Activities include developing Client specific Category Management strategy, plan, and execution; Develop and maintain client stakeholder relationships to understand their sourcing needs; Define and develop a sourcing strategy and subsequent supplier negotiation plans; and Manage RFx process for mid-level to strategic events to drive savings for Client and mitigate legal and financial risk on their behalf.
This role requires working directly with Clients as well as connecting within the broader Indirect Sourcing Category Management and S2P teams. The major interaction will be with the English-speaking customers, in the process of sourcing project planning and execution.

Minimum Qualifications / Skills
\xef\x83\x98 Postgraduate (MBAs would have an advantage)/Graduate
\xef\x83\x98 Past experience in leading Retail Procurement operations/processes for large global clients and hence understands operations
\xef\x83\x98 Expertise in creating BAU and transformative solutions for retail clients
\xef\x83\x98 Good understanding of technology landscape within the procurement domain and deep knowledge of at least one platform would be an advantage
\xef\x83\x98 Demonstrated experience in direct engagement with procurement leadership in client organizations
\xef\x83\x98 Experience in backend BD/Solutioning would be an added advantage
\xef\x83\x98 Flexibility at work \xe2\x80\x93 willing to work across time zones and willing to be based out of Genpact Bangalore locationPreferred Qualifications/ Skills1. Strong operations experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Services - Experience of Procurement Technology Platforms is desirable
2. Preparation of comprehensive client proposals \xe2\x80\x93 customized solutions
3. Strong client interfacing skills and consulting acumen \xe2\x80\x93 Past experience in long cycle Project Management
4. Green Belt / Black Belt in Sourcing & Procurement, SCM functions would be desirable
5. Must have excellent communication, presentation and analytical (problem solving) skills
6. Comfortable working with virtual teams & uses appropriate communication channels & tools (verbal / written - blog, email, collaboration tools, etc.) to accomplish the tasks assigned
