Support end-to-end delivery of Category specific Global Procurement Transformation programs to improve processes, systems capabilities and business relationship management for Clients.Responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Lead the achievement of value savings targets through delivery of a portfolio of strategic sourcing projects (with a focus on total cost management: unit price reduction, demand/specifications management, enhanced compliance and broader business change through innovation)\xc2\xb7 Work closely with the clients Senior Sourcing & Category teams to develop/enhance their Sourcing strategies, identify and optimize the ongoing portfolio of projects that make up the category plans, and lead the execution against them. [List of responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Setting direction for team of Sourcing Execution Analyst(s) and/or other cross-functional team members, providing strong leadership and people management as needed\xc2\xb7 Innovation: explores and understands how to get the best ideas and innovation out of suppliers and how to align to Genpacts Lean Digital agenda\xc2\xb7 Lead the developed sourcing strategy as agreed with the Category Lead in conjunction with overall program/project objectives.\xc2\xb7 Support broader transformation of the Category through supplier consolidation, PSLs, regional/global contracts, introducing consistent buying channels etc. on behalf.\xc2\xb7 Be the point of escalation for client related sourcing execution activities Develop relationships with key clients/stakeholders.\xc2\xb7 Support the team to develop appropriate client-based strategies for their sourcing activities.\xc2\xb7 Leads and drives complex sourcing projects on behalf of Clients.\xc2\xb7 Initiate and manage the development of creative and innovative sourcing solutions; advise on global policy and procedures covering the selection of suppliers, tendering and procurement.\xc2\xb7 Optimize use of suppliers world-wide by projects and platforms, ensuring cost savings are generated and service and financial targets are met.\xc2\xb7 Monitoring team performance against client SLAs and objectives, providing guidance where necessary to close any gaps and agreeing mediation plans to resolve delivery issues.\xc2\xb7 Is able to adapt processes to best meet the needs of Clients and mitigate potential sourcing risks.\xc2\xb7 Develops a joint strategic agenda with suppliers to ensure ongoing performance is monitored and improved, risks are managed & costs are reduced.\xc2\xb7 Successfully negotiates high value/complex contracts with suppliers on behalf of Clients.\xc2\xb7 Procurement process knowledge; understands and executes the Clients Procurement processes, including governance policy and procedures.\xc2\xb7 Has in-depth knowledge of all policies & legislation that impacts on contract formulation; advises the Clients appropriately and seeks input regularly from relevant areas (Legal, Audit, Finance, etc.) seeks guidance where needed.\xc2\xb7 Support Client Supplier Relationship Managers to ensure appropriate supplier management methods are applied to the different groups of suppliers (preferred, multi-category, tail-end, etc.)Qualifications we seek in you!Minimum Qualifications\xc2\xb7 Degree or equivalent professional qualification\xc2\xb7 Procurement experience demonstrating a proven track record of delivering successful sourcing teams/solutions.\xc2\xb7 Procurement Processes (sourcing and operational) in a business-to-business context\xc2\xb7 Category Domain knowledge of the following would be an advantage; Professional Services, HR Services, Travel, Office Supplies, MRO, Facilities Management & CapEX Equipment, Supply Chain & Logistics, Freight, Mail Services, IT (including Network Infrastructure, Hardware, Software, Consultancy Services & Temporary Labor), Marketing, Pharmaceuticals (including Lab Technology and supplies)\xc2\xb7 Business and Industry knowledge of either; Investment Banking, HealthCare and Life Sciences, Retail (FMCG), Technology Industries, Service Provider environments\xc2\xb7 Ability to interact with CXO and their Direct Report(s) level members in client organizations; ability to network with key stakeholders effectively and build lasting relationships.\xc2\xb7 Understanding of the IT, BPM (Business Process Management) outsourced services and IT enabled industries\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment, collaboratively.\xc2\xb7 Influencing skills, creative thinking/innovative mind-set, strategic thinking\xc2\xb7 Communicates clearly and with an inclusive style.\xc2\xb7 Ability to manage change effectively;
