The role of Senior / Assistant Vice President PMO is one that requires an individual to be highly organized, meticulous, and able to manage multiple projects at once. Overseeing the planning, execution and evaluation of all projects within their of the organization. This includes creating project plans, assigning resources, tracking progress, resolving issues, and communicating with stakeholders throughout the process. Relevant coursework includes project management, business, finance, accounting, statistics, economics, engineering, information technology, human resources and management. Training & Experience: Must have at least 5-10 years of experience of setting up and or managing a PMO function in the service industry . One must have worked as a project manager, a program manager, or a business analyst. Experienced in a related field, such as information technology, finance, or human resources. As a PMO Assistant Vice President , you can use your leadership skills to motivate your team and encourage them to work together to achieve organizational goals.
