Join our team and let\xe2\x80\x99s develop together what will be important tomorrow!You\xe2\x80\x99ll make a difference by:\xc2\xb7 You would hold overall responsibility for assigned key and very complex transactions along whole transaction lifecycle\xc2\xb7 You would find, develop and structure new investment opportunities in line with our hunting scheme and key priorities (profitability, order intake for Siemens\xe2\x80\x99 Industrial Businesses, sustainability & resilience. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be as well fully responsible to create and maximize value of these transactions, as well as successfully divesting them, when the time is right.\xc2\xb7 You will independently identify investment/ divestment/ restructuring opportunities (incl. market observation and proactive contact to founders, developers, buyers, sellers, bankers etc.)\xc2\xb7 Lead or co-lead external negotiations with co-sponsors, investee/target companies, suppliers covering all relevant aspects of the transaction (related to the full investment lifecycle; investment, portfolio management, and divestment) and assess investment viability, establish an investment case and structure transactions\xc2\xb7 You will develop and manage investment/ divestment strategy and present transaction at investment committee\xc2\xb7 You will identify and assess key risks and opportunities in target and investee companies, including coordination and taking responsibility for all due diligence activities, and develop and implement effective mitigants and structures to address identified risks and execute portfolio value creation activities to leverage opportunities.\xc2\xb7 You will undertake regular asset monitoring activities covering operational performance of the investee company and its investment performance on shareholder level, including regular fair value assessment or impairment testing, as the case may be, in line with SFS governance.\xc2\xb7 You build and manage relationships:o Internal: Siemens industrial business representatives to drive proximity (before and after investment) and value creation roadmaps of asset companieso Internal: Manage collaboration with Siemens governance owners \xe2\x80\x93 including compliance and legalo External: Manage collaboration and interaction with external parties \xe2\x80\x93 transaction company, co-investors, advisors, investment banks\xc2\xb7 You Coordinate members of transaction team and mentor junior team membersYour success is grounded in:\xc2\xb7 Master\xe2\x80\x99s in business administration degree (or similar) together with a profound understanding of equity investments, M&A, and other project finance structures. Engineering degree is a plus.\xc2\xb7 A minimum of 10 years of experience with proven operational track record in investment processes with preference for infrastructure investments\xc2\xb7 Advanced knowledge on sustainability technologies, i.e. Renewables/Energy transition, Transportation/ eMobility, Healthcare, Battery value chain, Data Centers\xc2\xb7 Experienced in managing and participating in cross-functional teams (transactions / value creation).\xc2\xb7 External market experience managing stakeholders, market trends, and commercial arrangements in fast developing market environments.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrable experience of working within an international, matrix environment as well as working with international, virtual teams.\xc2\xb7 In addition to your native language, you are fluent in English.\xc2\xb7 Please be aware that 20-30% travel is required for this role.Join us and be yourself!We value your unique identity and perspective and are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the diversity of society.
