Role Outline/Job Summary The role of AVP - Data/Information Management is based at AIM COE Chennai Center and reports to VP/SVP leading the team. The successful candidate will be part of a recently established team, supporting Analytical Data and MIS needs of the Legacy Franchisee Reporting. This role requires the ability to understand business priorities and drivers, develop data-driven solutions to address business problems and independently manage end-to-end project communication with business partners, mentor analysts and lead by example. This is a technical manager role, that requires candidate to stay hands-on data, contribute to day-to-day team activities and be always ready to roll up sleeve and get into details, along with managing analysts. Responsibilities Oversee development and delivery of business reporting for faster and accurate business decisions Liaise with business partners in gathering data/reporting requirements and clearly documenting the same on project management tool Prioritize tasks for the team, plan resources and provide clear deadlines for deliverables Efficiently carry out data preparation/data modelling necessary for reporting/visualization and analytics purpose Manage the process of turning requirements into automated outputs Performance monitoring, fine-tuning and optimization of data process and reports Consistently deliver business reports and data on time, be proactive in addressing roadblocks meeting agreed SLA Ensure consistency, reliability and accuracy on all deliverables. Define controls over key business processes to ensure they are working as intended, mitigate known risks, and identify emerging risks Address ad-hoc queries in a timeline manner, provide additional analytics support as needed by business Hire, manage and develop a team of data analysts with a range of tenure Monitor performance of individuals according to established standards and conduct performance evaluations. Qualifications Experience: 8-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Management and Analysis. 3 years of experience in managing and coaching team Prior experience working in a Customer Experience domain would be helpful Tools and platforms: SAS, Advanced SQL, Database, Data Warehouse and Data model. Proficient in one or more general purpose big data languages - Python, Hive Hands-on working experience on BI Visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc. Hands on exposure to version controlling tools like Bit Bucket Familiar with Jira for workflow mgmt., time allocation scrum framework, backlog, planning, sprints, story points, retrospectives etc. Reporting & Data Management Skills: Experience with operational and analytical reporting systems, data warehouse systems, development and automation of report and dashboards Ability to analyze huge volume of data and create business metrics Maintenance and data quality management of warehouse/marts/cubes Data Quality Management/Analysis including Data profiling, impact assessment from varied data sources Job Family Group: Decision Management Job Family: Data/Information Management Time Type: Full time Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
