ARM Special Assets Credit Solutions Portfolio handling and monitoring
Main Role (Overall accountability):
1. The position is responsible for close monitoring of Large Corporates credit portfolio in order to identify early warning indicators/ accounts showing signs of incipient sickness and propose recommendations for improvements to mitigate risks.
2. Corporate relationship management of stressed accounts within the framework and guidelines of the Bank and CBO.
Personnel Specifications:
- MBA/ CA/ CFA/ ACCA with minimum 2 years of experience in portfolio monitoring/ EWL identification
- Experience in the GCC region & Islamic banking products preferable
- Have the capability to:
- Communicate a compelling long term view of the business, anticipate future trends and translate strategy into clear objectives
- Build relationships, build trust, share knowledge, set expectations, provide support and facilitate cooperation
- Be flexible and constantly seek new ways to approach job requirements and challenges; to adjust rapidly to new situations
- Consistently drive results, displaying high levels of energy, commitment and resilience
- Excellent Communicator and team player - deliver clear, proactive and effective communication to expand understanding, influence others and manage conflicts
- Conduct detailed analysis of data, information and situations, perform cause and effect analysis, make effective, timely and fair decisions
- Possess technical/ functional skills like Credit Evaluation & Analysis, Verification & Structuring, Credit Control, Financial Analysis, Recovery Strategy & Management, NPA portfolio management across various industry sectors
- Knowledge of Credit policies, regulatory framework and legal aspects (preferred)
- Should be a creative problem solver, high on integrity and takes ownership to deliver results
