About the role:The Assistant Recruiter - IT will support the recruitment process for various IT roles within the company. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for talent, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with potential candidates. This role involves sourcing, screening, coordinating, and conducting interviews, as well as assisting with other administrative tasks to ensure a smooth hiring process.Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Screening:
Utilize various sourcing methods to identify potential candidates, including job boards, social media, and networking.
Review resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates\' suitability for open positions.
Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Assist in organizing and participating in job fairs, career events, and recruitment drives.
Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Administrative Support:
Assist in the preparation and posting of job advertisements.
Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and recruitment progress.
Prepare recruitment reports and metrics for review by senior management.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the HR team and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
Support the HR team in developing and implementing recruitment strategies.
Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the recruitment process.
Compliance:
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and employment laws.
Assist in conducting background checks and verifying employment references.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in recruitment or HR, preferably in the IT sector, is a plus.
Strong understanding of IT roles and technologies.
Proficient With MS Office or Google Workspace
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with sourcing techniques and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter.
Prior Experience with an Australian or Real -Estate Company.
Experience with recruitment marketing and employer branding.
