Job Description

Supplier Management:

Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery reliability.

Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and develop new supplier connections.

Support the Purchase Manager in conducting supplier audits and performance evaluations.

Procurement Process:

Help manage the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions.

Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and budget constraints.

Assist in negotiating prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.

Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for production and operational needs.

Coordinate with warehouse and logistics staff to manage and track inventory.

Implement and maintain inventory control systems to minimize waste and reduce costs.

Cost Management:

Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Support the development and implementation of strategies to reduce procurement costs.

Monitor procurement expenditures and report on cost savings and budget adherence.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.

Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and presentations for management.

Vendor Coordination:

Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Resolve issues or discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, or invoices.

Manage vendor contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

Team Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with other departments, such as production, logistics, and finance, to understand their needs and ensure smooth procurement operations.

Provide regular updates to the Purchase Manager on procurement status, challenges, and opportunities.

Participate in cross-functional teams and projects as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and systems.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in procurement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
