Your primary objective will be to support the Project Lead in delivering successful MEP projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Project Coordination:

  • Assist the Project Lead in coordinating all MEP activities throughout the project lifecycle, including design, procurement, construction, and handover.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination between different project teams.
  • Support the Project Lead in monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Assist in preparing regular project status updates, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards in all MEP project documentation.
Quality Control and Assurance:
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications, construction standards, and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Project Lead to identify and resolve quality control issues promptly.
  • Assist in reviewing and approving shop drawings, submittals, and material samples for MEP systems.
Budget and Cost Management:
  • Support the Project Lead in monitoring project budgets, tracking expenses, and controlling costs.
  • Assist in reviewing and negotiating change orders, claims, and payment requests related to MEP work.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of MEP equipment, materials, and services.
Team Management and Collaboration:
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, ensuring effective communication and coordination among team members.
  • Assist in assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring the performance of team members and subcontractors.
  • Participate in MEP project meetings, providing technical expertise and support to address project-related challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (2-4 years) working in MEP project management or coordination role in the construction or real estate industry.
  • Solid understanding of MEP systems, design principles, codes, and best practices.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within budgetary constraints.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with relevant construction industry standards and regulations.
