Assistant Professor : Sustainability - Srusti Academy of Management (Autonomous)

Job Summary:

• Srusti Academy of Management seeks a qualified individual to fill the position of Assistant Professor in Sustainability. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate sustainability courses, conducting research, and contributing to the overall development of the Sustainability program.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver postgraduate level courses in Sustainability, including but not limited to:
• Environmental Management
• Sustainable Development
• Corporate Social Responsibility
• Green Supply Chain Management
• Climate Change and Business
• Design and develop effective teaching materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, and exams.
• Employ innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in sustainability and incorporate them into the curriculum.
• Contribute to the development and revision of the Sustainability curriculum.
• Guide and mentor students in research projects.
• Participate in research grant applications.
• Advise and mentor students on academic and career-related matters.
• Provide academic counseling and support to students.
• Develop strong relationships with students to foster a positive learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Masters and PhD continued in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration with a focus on Sustainability, or a related field as per AICTE norms.
• Strong academic record with publications in reputed journals.
• Excellent teaching and communication skills.
• Knowledge of sustainability principles, practices, and policies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in teaching sustainability courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Industry experience in sustainability.
• Experience in securing research grants.
• Ability to develop and implement innovative teaching and learning methods.
