Job Description

The Department of Applied Engineering invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Assistant Professor. We seek an outstanding physicist with a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service.

Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in physics, including lectures and labs Develop and maintain an active, independent research program Mentor and advise students, including supervising undergraduate/graduate research projects Participate in curriculum development and departmental governance Engage in university service and outreach activities Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the department and university

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Physics only. Prior Experience of effective teaching or potential to teach at the college/university level

Preferred:

Postdoctoral experience Demonstrated commitment to inclusive teaching and fostering a diverse academic environment Ability to collaborate across disciplines or engage in interdisciplinary research
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
