Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Basic Science English Faculty member to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of hands-on teaching experience in higher education, with a strong academic background, including a Master's degree in English Literature. This role involves teaching English language and literature within a science context, helping students develop their communication skills and critical thinking abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging lesson plans that integrate English literature and language skills with basic science concepts.
• Instruction: Deliver high-quality instruction in English language and literature, focusing on scientific texts and research writing.
• Assessment: Develop and administer assessments, providing constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.
• Student Support: Offer mentorship and guidance to students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with faculty in the science department to create interdisciplinary programs that enhance student learning.
• Research and Development: Engage in ongoing professional development and research related to English education and its application in scientific fields.
• Community Engagement: Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and outreach activities to promote the integration of English studies in scientific disciplines.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master's degree in English Literature or a related field.
• Experience: 4-5 years of teaching experience at the college level, preferably in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with contemporary educational technologies and methods for teaching English in a science context.
• Commitment: A passion for fostering a love of literature and language among students, particularly in the context of science.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
