Assistant Professor Of English
Job Description
• Teaching: Deliver undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses in English literature, composition, creative writing, and related subjects. Develop and implement syllabi, lectures, and assignments.
• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the English curriculum, including course content, materials, and instructional methods.
• Student Engagement: Provide academic advising and support to students. Encourage and facilitate student participation and engagement both in and out of the classroom.
• Research: Engage in scholarly research in the field of English or related areas. Publish research findings in academic journals and present at conferences as appropriate.
• Service: Participate in departmental and university committees, attend faculty meetings, and contribute to the academic community.
• Evaluation: Assess and grade student performance, provide constructive feedback, and ensure academic standards are met.
