: The Professor of Cloud Computing will be responsible for teaching, research, and academic leadership in the field of cloud computing within the institution. Responsibilities:
- Course Development and Delivery:
- Develop and deliver courses related to cloud computing, including introductory and advanced topics.
- Design curriculum, course materials, and assessments that align with industry standards and academic rigor.
- Research:
- Conduct research in cloud computing, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, and other scholarly outlets.
- Student Supervision and Mentorship:
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate student research projects in cloud computing.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students pursuing academic and career goals in the field.
- Academic Leadership:
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees and activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of education and research within the department and institution.
- Professional Development:
- Engage in continuous professional development activities to maintain expertise in cloud computing and related areas.
- Attend conferences, workshops, and seminars to network with peers and stay updated on the latest research and practices.
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a focus on cloud computing.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud computing technologies, platforms, and architectures.
- certifications in cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
