Assistant Professor : MCA - Srusti Academy of Management (Autonomous)

Position Summary:

• Srusti Academy of Management seeks a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Professor for its Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education, conducting innovative research, and contributing to the academic and administrative functions of the department.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver effective lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for MCA courses.
• Prepare and update course syllabi, learning outcomes, and assessment methods.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and projects.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
• Conduct independent research in computer science or a related field.
• Publish research findings in reputable journals and conferences.
• Guide and mentor graduate students in research projects.
• Collaborate with faculty colleagues on research initiatives.
• Seek external funding for research projects.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Engage in professional development activities.
• Participate in university-wide service activities.
• Build relationships with industry partners.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field with minimum 2 years experiences as per AICTE norms.
• Strong academic record with a demonstrated ability to teach at the graduate level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
• A record of research and scholarly activity is preferred.
• Knowledge of current trends and technologies in computer science.
