Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Curriculum Development:

Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in pharmacy, develop and update curriculum materials, and employ innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning.

Research and Scholarly Activities:

Conduct original research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and engage in scholarly activities that contribute to the advancement of pharmacy practice and education.

Student Mentorship:

Advise and mentor students on academic and career matters, supervise laboratory sessions, internships, and research projects, and provide guidance on professional development.

Service and Professional Development:

Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, and community service; engage in continuous professional development; and contribute to the advancement of the pharmacy profession.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

A Ph.D. in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field is typically required.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at recognized institutions is often preferred.

Skills:

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in research methodologies; and a commitment to student success and professional development.
