Job Description

As an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and conducting impactful research. You will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, mentoring students, and contributing to the department's research initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer science, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to advancing the field through research.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective lectures, seminars, and labs for undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science.

Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the computer science curriculum to ensure it aligns with current industry standards and academic advancements.

Research: Conduct original research in computer science, publish findings in reputable journals, and present research at conferences.

Student Mentorship: Advise and mentor students on academic and career matters, and provide guidance for research projects and thesis work.

Service: Participate in departmental and institutional committees, contribute to accreditation processes, and engage in community outreach and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

Education:

Must hold a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field, or

Must be NET (National Eligibility Test) qualified.

Experience:

Demonstrated experience in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.

Proven track record of research and publication in reputable journals.

Skills:

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.

Proficiency in relevant programming languages and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Postdoctoral research experience.

Experience with interdisciplinary research and collaboration.

Proven ability to secure research funding.
