Assistant Professor : Finance - Srusti Academy of Management (Autonomous)

Position Summary:

• Srusti Academy of Management is seeking a dedicated and innovative Assistant Professor in Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education, conducting impactful research, and contributing to the academic and administrative functions of the department. This role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate-level finance courses, mentoring students, conducting research, and participating in various institutional activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and update finance curriculum to align with current industry practices and academic standards.
• Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and workshops in finance, employing effective teaching strategies to foster student engagement and understanding.
• Create, administer, and grade assessments, including assignments, exams, and projects, to evaluate and ensure student learning outcomes.
• Provide academic advising and career guidance to finance students, helping them navigate their educational and professional paths.
• Conduct original research in finance, aiming to publish findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
• Apply for and secure research grants to support finance-related research projects.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation of the finance program to uphold high academic standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other administrative tasks to support the functioning and growth of the department.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in finance through continuous learning and professional activities.
• Engage with industry professionals and participate in outreach activities to promote the finance program and enhance its visibility

Qualifications :

• Master degree or PhD. Continued in Finance with a specialization in the relevant area as per AICTE norms.
• Proven teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level in Finance specialization courses.
• Strong research record with publications in reputed academic journals in the specialization area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
• In-depth knowledge of advanced marketing concepts, theories, and practices within the specialization.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Desired Qualities:

• Industry experience in the specific Finance specialization area.
• Ability to secure external research grants related to the specialization.
