Position Title: Assistant Professor, Fashion/Textile Design, Gyan Vihar Centre of Arts and Design

Location: Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur

Role Summary:


The Gyan Vihar Centre of Arts and Design is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented female faculty with academic qualifications in the Domain of Fashion/Textile Design.


Since the School is at its inception stage, the initial period of around 1 year will involve promotion and outreach activities of Gyan Vihar Centre of Arts and Design. This profile will predominantly involve reaching out to various stake holders with proposals for events and activities and thus introduce Gyan Vihar Centre of Arts and Design to them. She will play a pivotal role in increasing the visibility and engagement of the Centre by building relationships with stakeholders and proactively driving promotional efforts.


The candidate must also proactively suggest and actively participate in the ongoing outreach activities for the promotion of Gyan Vihar Centre of Arts and Design.


The candidate should be proficient in making impactful presentations and proposal documents.


The candidate will also engage in delivering hands-on workshops on topics related to fashion/textile design for arts and design aspirants.


Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential for this job profile.


Once the batch of students are there in the upcoming academic year 2025-26, the candidate shall be responsible to teaching courses related to Fashion/Textile Design. The candidate shall continue to play active role in outreach activities of Gyan Vihar Centre of Arts and Design alongside her teaching workload.


This profile will involve frequent travel to the various schools, and other institutions in-and-around Jaipur, and at times may involve travel outside Jaipur.
