Facilitate student learning through research led teaching and effective instructions by developing course curriculum, course handouts, lectures, labs and presentations as per UGC/Council guidelines.
Performance evaluations of student\'s learning for all assigned classes, using standard course outlines for each course\'s as a guide and play a significant role in reviewing of modules and programs as per the course guideline.
Develop innovative approaches to learning and teaching i.e. through presentation, demonstrations, case studies and tutorials.
Regular reporting to competent authority about its compliance.
Administration
They have to Participate in departmental and faculty meetings, in addition to it they have to involve in all academic and research activities of the department along with any other responsibility assigned to them.
Examinations
The appropriate multiple assessment tools and strategies has to be applied to evaluate and promote the continuous intellectual development of the students through assigning reasonable assignments as per university rules.
The overall performance of the student be evaluated more precisely in fair and timely manner and report it to the concerned authority within the specified time.
The student assessment data should be analyzed for further improvements and overall development of students.
Internship & Industrial Liaisoning
Schedule and conduct on-site clinical, internship, observation, field experience, industrial training as a part of course curriculum shall be guided.
Sports and Extra Curricular Activities
To ensure and encourage the students for their participation in sports and other activities organized at departmental/faculty/University level. Further, to maintain the record of students participating in various activities and have achieved various rewards at different level.
Mentor - Mentee Interaction Program
Drive the Mentor - Mentee interaction program within the department on a regular basis.
Be available to the students via email, phone, or personal conferences. The method of contact and hours of availability should be communicated to the office of the students.
Act as a personal tutor for students, support them in maximizing the benefit of their time in SGT University and motivate them for the building of their career.
Alumni
To organize the alumni-meet and collect the data of alumni students, their placement and analyze them in details.
To encourage the students for promoting the interaction with their senior alumni and make a strong network between them.
Admission
To participate and take an active part in the admission process and counselling of the students.
To ensure that enquiries from applicants and prospective applicants are dealt with in a timely and informative manner and maintain their records.
Research & Partnership Activities
To encourage and develop the innovative research activity in the UG & PG courses.
Motivate the students to participate in various extra-curricular skilled programs, conferences and workshops.
To reach out to Industry and government / non government institutions to foster research/collaboration partnerships and sign MOUs.
