Assistant Professor : Business Analytics - Srusti Academy of Management (Autonomous)

Job Summary:

• Srusti Academy of Management seeks a qualified individual to fill the position of Assistant Professor in Business Analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate business analytics courses, conducting research, and contributing to the overall development of the Business Analytics program.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver postgraduate level courses in Business Analytics, including but not limited to:
• Statistical Methods for Business.
• Data Mining and Predictive Analytics.
• Business Intelligence and Data Visualization.
• Operations Research and Optimization.
• Big Data Analytics.
• Design and develop effective teaching materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, and exams.
• Employ innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in business analytics and incorporate them into the curriculum.
• Contribute to the development and revision of the Business Analytics curriculum.
• Guide and mentor students in research projects.
• Participate in research grant applications.
• Advice and mentor students on academic and career-related matters.
• Provide academic counseling and support to students.
• Develop strong relationships with students to foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Master degree or PhD. Continued in Business Analytics with a specialization in the relevant area as per AICTE norms.
• Proven teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level in Analytics specialization courses.
• Strong research record with publications in reputed academic journals in the specialization area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
• In-depth knowledge of advanced Analytical concepts, theories, and practices within the specialization.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Desired Qualities:

• Industry experience in the specific Analytics specialization area.
• Ability to secure external research grants related to the specialization.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
