Join us as the single point of contact for India payroll, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements for 1000+ employees.In this pivotal role, youll manage payroll operations, oversee statutory compliance filings, and partner with global teams to streamline processes. If you thrive on numbers, problem-solving, and driving impact, this is your opportunity to shine!For this critical role, we are looking for someone to be based in Mumbai. You may choose to work from home; however, you will be required to travel to our Andheri East office once a week for business requirements, meetings, or company/team events, or on short notice as needed. Job responsibilities:

• You are the single point of contact for our India payroll process for 1000+ employees. You will lead on payroll checking and salary upload so employees are paid correctly and on time each month. Ensuring more than 99% payroll accuracy.
• You will ensure timely filing of PF and other statutory compliances.
• You are the subject matter expert for complex payroll and compliance queries.
• You will liaise with various geographical POCs for ensuring timely salary disbursement on global payrolls.
• You will lead external audits for payroll and ensure high compliance scores are met.
• You work with our Finance team to ensure timely reporting of payroll and JV reports.
• You will review the compensation structure to propose ways that will yield the highest value for the organization.
• You will monitor trends affecting compensation and benefits to assess how the company can improve policies and procedures.
• You will administer the companys ESOP plan, loan policy, and gratuity plan and related filings and compliances.

• Proven experience in India payroll operations, including compliance with statutory regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Expertise in payroll software and systems.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Good-to-Have Skills & Experience

• Exposure to global payroll processes and cross-country compliance standards.
• Familiarity with handling multi-country payroll software tools.
• High adaptability and resilience when managing complex payroll scenarios.

Soft Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Calm under pressure, with the ability to multitask efficiently.
