This position is for VTBA Systems & Solutions Pune Plant for undertaking OA activities in the organisation in line with the defined global VTBA Standards.
Prepares Quality documents for Customised Vacuum Systems and standard Systems & Solutions products.
Produces Quality procedures to ensure quality is maintained as per AC VTBA Systems& Solutions Standards
Develop new suppliers and train them for meeting the require quality in supplier components.
Inward material inspections and existing supplier visits for inspections to ensure quality is maintained at each level.
Supports Engineering and Operational teams with relevant data as desired.
Undertake in process and final inspection activities as desired for a particular system.
Prepares QA manuals and maintains control and supervision of all amendments and revisions thereafter.
Closely monitor all quality related activities on the project.
Perform all internal and external audits as desired by the organisation.
Participates in internal and external quality meetings.
Prepares and controls project quality management documentation prior to project commencement.
Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements and liaison with reporting manager as desired.
Monitor and report all nonconformance in required forum and initiate improvement actions.
Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the production supervisor, Engineering team and Souring Engineer.
Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the customers representatives as desired.
Follow the required Quality reporting method to ensure there is no compromise in quality at any stage.
Maintain a log of quality issues and take required action with guidance from reporting manager.
Archive all quality documentation on completion of project and maintain data log.
Certification NDT Level, II & III, will be preferred.
Sound knowledge in ASME, API, DIN & other standards such as Welding standards and practices.
Should be aware of ISO and implementation of ISO procedures.
Shall be also responsible for Health Safety and environment activities of the organisation as desired.
Perform final safety and quality check before machine leaves the premises and sign and certifies the same and maintain a log of these checks.Scope of the Job:
Is an active member of the Systems and Solutions team comprising of multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the well running of contracts in meeting the schedule for tasks assigned and reviewing the safety of the equipment in manufacture.
Works within a schedule of tasks according to priority
Have consideration and awareness to project costs and notify Project Engineer of any impacts that would take a project out of budget.
The role requires strong planning, priority setting, coordinating of work and competing priorities. The candidate must be able to balance all these items at any given time.
Shows active approach towards broadening knowledge and qualification.
Focus on optimising engineering hours without affecting quality.
Based in Pune, with one direct report.
Transparently report all issues to the reporting manager and work for active resolution of issues and take necessary steps to prevent the same in future projects.

What we expect of you?
University Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in similar role.
Have the ability to communicate effectively, work and perform in a team environment.
Sound Knowledge of weld and Piping standards followed in Industry.
Working Knowledge of NDT, Hydrotest, etc.
Working knowledge of ASME/API/TEMA/IEC/IS/DIN/ ATEX/CCOE and other international Codes.
Level 2/3 weld certification course is an added advantage.
Adequate knowledge of ASME, welding procedures WPS PQR qualification
Certification in painting inspection like NACE Level II / III, OSHE OR FROSIO Level 3 will be advantage.
Should be self-driven and should be having creative approach to improve and maintain quality.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, orientation in modern IT structures and processes.
Should be a team player and take organisations ambitions forward together as a team with other disciplines.
