Overview Element has an opportunity for an Assistant Manager-Corrosion testing to join our rapidly expanding team in Mumbai. In this role , you will perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the metallurgical laboratory / sites ,in line with the recognised international standards and ensure timely and accurate test This position will be based in Ghatkopar West , Mumbai , India Responsibilities Conduct corrosion testing in line with corresponding standards Conduct IGC (Intergranular Corrosion) tests Practices as per ASTM standards, ASTM A262:2015, ASTM A 763:2015, ASTM A 923:2015 Conduct SSCC (Sulfide stress corrosion cracking) Test as per NACE TM 0177 Confuct HIC (Hydrogen Induced Cracking) Test As per NACE TM 0284 Conduct Salt Spray Testing (Neutral Salt spray, Copper Accelerated Acetic acid Salt spray) and Cyclic corrosion testins as per ASTM standards Train juniors on corrosion testing and standards Provide prompt customer support and travel to various customer sites , when required Skills / Qualifications Graduate Engineer in Metallurgy / Mechanical or related 3-5 year experience incorrosion testing & IGC (Intergranular Corrosion) Test Practices as per ASTM standard ASTM A262:2015, ASTM A 763:2015, ASTM A 923:2015 Hands on experience SSCC (Sulfide stress corrosion cracking) tests as per NACE TM 0177 and HIC (Hydrogen Induced Cracking) tests As per NACE TM 0284 Adept in salt Spray Testing (Neutral Salt spray, Copper Accelerated Acetic acid Salt spray) and cyclic corrosion testins as per ASTM standards Advanced communication and presentation skills in English and local language for the region Company Overview Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
