About the role
Roles and Responsibilities
As Work Management Tool (WMT) Assistant Manager within GCO Omnichannel Operations, lead the maintenance, governance, and ongoing evolution of a high-quality work management tool, focused on service delivery excellence and performance. This lead will apply operational rigor, consistency, and scalability in their operations, enabling data-driven decisions for the work management tool.
Manage a team of WMT analysts and associates to drive delivery of high quality and efficient omnichannel operations
Accountable for WMT, supporting all Omni Ops regions, services, and partners
Help to develop and continue to maintain SOPs to effectively capture/track Omni Operations work in WMT
Establish and enforce standards for consistent, comprehensive, and informative data-capture within the WMT, and its integration into reporting and dashboard (the CUBE) frameworks
Partner with GPOs to understand business requirements and implement new WMT features/roadmaps to align to the requirements, providing solutions that drive standardization and align to standard methodologies
Maintain relationships with regional leads, service team leads, vendor management leads, and other user-group leads to optimize UX and evolve the WMT
Partner with Reporting and Demand & Capacity Planning leads/teams to ensure seamless integration
Lead ongoing governance and internal audits to maintain integrity of WMT, including data integration with reporting and other tools
Provide one-off solutions with other tools, automate manual processes, data migration routine, and extract data for reporting and analytics purposes
Lead the creation of training material and standard operation procedure documentation, as well as an SOP for onboarding/training for new users (internal and external)
Establish a \xe2\x80\x98ticketing\xe2\x80\x99 process to provide user support for the WMT
Continually look for opportunities to simplify, optimize and/or automate our systems/processes, collaborating closely with other internal AZ teams and departments as needed
Explore and take advantage of industry best-practices to improve our systems/processes
Consulted as SME (Authority) and primary point-of-contact for all aspects of WMT, providing valuable inputs regarding strategy, execution, scaling, and operation of capabilities
Handles and develops the team, including promoting a collaborative and inclusive team environment
Conducts standard line manager tasks for each team member, including performance check-ins and evaluations and supporting career progression goals; addressing performance issues as required.
Essential Skills and Experience
6+ years of direct work experience in operations, with work management tool-related or other similar programme development and implementation
Solid knowledge of Jira (Jira Software Premium, Jira Service Management, Jira Work Management), Smartsheet & SNOW business project management tools
Extensive experience managing and analyzing data
Good familiarity with querying and reporting tools
Understanding of agile, kana, waterfall, and hybrid work/project methodologies
Good proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SAP BO
Experience in SQL & Java script for interaction with reporting teams
Familiarity with some financial reporting tools like Anaplan, OBIEE & CCTR Reporting, COUPA
Very good project management skills, with expertise in keeping leaders and collaborators informed appropriately
Experience in driving continuous process improvements and process automations
Skilled proficiency in preparation of reports, presentations, summaries, and analysis
Track record of effectively analyzing and recommending solutions to the team/collaborators for complex tasks
Ability to influence without authority and drive adoption/compliance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical or complex concepts and to tailor communications based on the audience
Experience in managing a team of direct reports

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher
Experience in pharmaceutical industry
Experience in managing and partnering with diverse teams
Experience in communicating with stakeholders in multiple geographies
Strong listening and presentation skills
High-level understanding of Omnichannel campaign workflows, strategy, and implementation
