Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our UK accounts outsourcing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting practices, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service to clients. You will assist in managing client accounts, support the senior management team, and ensure compliance with UK accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the UK accounts outsourcing team.
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations and prepare management reports for clients.
• Support tax preparation and compliance, ensuring adherence to UK tax regulations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing financial insights.
• Mentor and train junior staff members, promoting professional growth and development.
• Assist in developing and implementing process improvements and best practices.
• Collaborate with the senior management team to develop budgets and forecasts.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations relevant to UK businesses.
Qualifications:
• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Candidates who have completed CA articleship or dropped out of CA course
• Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a UK accounts
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.
