The candidate must also be willing to work flexible and varying shifts through the year and also must react positively and effectively to needs of handling volume spikes (usually at month and quarter ends)Responsibilities:

  • Supervise mailbox and prioritize important emails from banks and clients
  • Ensuring Payments/Cashman/Queries procedures and timelines are being followed
  • Review applicable accounting reports and accounts to ensure accuracy and no outstanding before month/quarter/year end
  • Provide effective communication between the business, banks, and the other client departments.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and training for the applications.
  • Understanding and maintenance of accurate internal controls.
  • Ensuring all SLAs should be green and 100% accuracy on quarterly SOX audit results
  • Closure on all internal/external audit observations
  • Run required reports on daily basis
  • Investigate queries and provide RCA for any customer concerns
  • Provide training to backup resource
  • Download updates and update procedure document as and when required
  • Handle query/bank calls, cash flows
  • Review and approval of receipts and payments
  • Take funds movement decisions
  • Raise movement payments and handle returned payments
  • Monitor receipts & complete accounting
Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduate in Commerce
  • Proven experience in Treasury Payments and Cash Management activities
  • Insurance/ Reinsurance Domain knowledge
  • Lean/Six Sigma awareness
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good Interpersonal Skills!
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical ability!
  • Ability to build relationships with internal customers in Genpact and very meaningfully with client - must be seen as a proactive, conducive teammate
  • Ability to respond to stretch situations of volume spikes as and when the need arises
