The Opportunity: The primary focus of this role is to support the TRM Centre of Excellence delivery model to drive up the customer experience and advocacy, assist in managing the operational risk and realize lower operating costs.Principally, this requires participation and support in the structuring and monitoring of new facility/transaction facilities to ensure they are workable and that the proposed facility/transaction are in line with industry standards and internal/external banking practices, processes, and governance. The role will likely span across 3 key streams, namely Survey, Buyer Credit and Commodity Trade Finance. Survey Key responsibilities will be providing operational support to the process receivables finance survey activity on new and existing Sellers using appropriate auditing techniques, independently, and objectively, identify and manage risk or risk mitigation, whether financial, operational, or relationship based. Buyer Credit Responsibilities will include supporting the underwriting and managing/monitoring buyer credit limit exposures, providing trusted advice to internal stakeholders in addition to providing guidance and direction on credit structures and risk positions to ensure that business assets are committed and controlled within acceptable risk/reward parameters. Assist in developing and creating Survey MI to allow monitoring of trend and risk oversight Responsible for ensuring that all Survey administrative task SLAs are met, including timely production of the monthly Survey Schedule and accuracy of the information recorded. lead the Co-ordination, processing, and monitoring, of the cessation of a Receivable Finance (RF) facility, including calculating redemption figures and updating systems Support various aspects of receivable finance transaction flow including customer credit management, Trade Credit Insurance (TCI) management and customer limit requests. Support in the underwriting of credit limit decisions and/or rationale for existing and prospective clients using both financial and non-financial information Help to minimize bad debt through effective risk management including the review of various data sources and exception reports to identify risk indicators Support and contribute to the identification and development of best practice systems and processes for TRM. Support the monitoring of new facility/transaction facilities to ensure they are workable and that the proposed facility/transaction are in line with industry standards and internal/external banking practices. Protect the bank\'s assets and reputation by monitoring buyers and clients for suspicious activity/transactions and taking appropriate action as per the operating policies Production of Management Information (MI) and reporting as per Global Operating Procedures on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. Ensure integrity of risk procedures and practices. Ensure facilities (clients and customers) are audited and managed in accordance with Group policy Requirements What will you need to succeed in the role Relevant experience of 3 years within Trade Finance, ideally within one or all of Core Trade, Receivables Finance and Commodity Trade Finance with a risk control lens with knowledge and experience of core trade, receivables finance and commodity trade financing products, risk evaluation, and the finance lifecycle. Good understanding of customer groups and supporting business initiatives. Good understanding of operational risk related to the underlying transactions. A good team player who possesses good interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizing and time management skills. Good ability to work independently and quickly, with good attention to detail and solutions oriented. Good command of spoken and written English essential, with strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling productive dialogue with internal and external customers Self-motivated with initiatives to take on new and additional responsibilities. Strong ability to read and analyses a wide source of data, including financial and non-financial information Good understanding of financial crime risk. Completion of a degree or relevant professional qualification Good understanding of applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
