Discovery WBD) international tax team supporting the provision of financial data to the co-sourced tax compliance and reporting team that will enable the completion of the international corporate tax returns. The role will involve developing relationships and working with the WBD International tax team, the EY co-sourced tax team in the UK and India, as well as liaising with the WBD finance teams in both the UK, Poland and India and International local EY tax teams.Ad hoc assistance with International data requests, including but not limited to the following:

• Generating financial data and providing to external service providers so they can complete international tax returns;
• Creating data packs for financial statements.
• Generating reports and trial balances for WBD tax team and co- sourced compliance and reporting team.
• Uploading of information to the EY Beehive software tool and PwC Connect software tool;
• Archiving of financial data that supports international tax returns;
• Provision of ad hoc financial data required in the event of tax audits, tax enquiries , amended international tax returns, tax restructuring etc

Skill requirements:

• Experience and familiarity of working within financial systems (SAP experience essential whilst a familiarity across Peoplesoft will be highly beneficial)
• Strong project management skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills with a resilience to work within a wider international tax team following on from a merger.
• Interest in developing combined processes to improve tax data management to ensure accuracy and completeness in tax compliance and reporting.
• Tax Audit management
• Data Archiving
• Project management experience is preferred

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate or MBA with minimum 5 - 7 years experience
• Familiarity in Tax Provisioning and Statutory reporting.
• Must have experience of financial systems and the extraction of data.
