Responds to client issues to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.Job Title:Assistant Manager - SCMJob responsibilities:Well Versed with Semiconductors, Passives, Connectors, PCB\xe2\x80\x99s, Relay/Switches etc. components used on PCBA.Must have worked in Electronics Management team with Global spend and Familiar with Market conditions for electronics.Must have experience to Manage and Negotiate with OEM\xe2\x80\x99s/DistributorsMust have experience in contract negotiations and price implementations with OEM/Distributors.Must have experience in Supplier relationship managementMust have experience in Obsolescence management and work closely with Engg/Product management groups to define LTB on obsolete componentsMust have experience to drive Component Engg/Value Engg for driving dual source on Existing portfolio of the parts.Must have experience on Cost benchmarking with help of Lytica/IHS tools.Must be able to Support NPI/Life cycle management for Electronics components.Must have working relationship management with EMS suppliers.Must have experience on cost management of Direct/EMS bought out components.Must have experience on shortage management of electronics components in complex environment.Must have experience in expediting the component shortages / process bottlenecks w.r.t changing forecast /usage environment.Prioritizes the support activities for the global plants as per the internal customer criticality.Provide root cause corrective action when needed.Participate and lead continuous improvement opportunitiesProactively avoid material shortages and demonstrates horizontal deployment.Expedite part shortages specific to Electronics commodityProactively drive root cause corrective action (RCCA) with the supply baseInteract with suppliers to communicate delivery expectations, forecasts, design changes, lead time management, and material expedites or delays to ensure suppliers meet Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) goals.Proficient in SAP environment.Shall be familiar with know how on MRP in SAP for prioritizing the tasks in line with the internal stakeholder\xe2\x80\x99s expectation.Qualifications:Education requirements: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s DegreeRequired skills: Excellent Communication skills, familiarity with ERP MRP systems (preferably SAP & Macola)SME in Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access and MS Office.Preferred experience: SAP / Macola ERP system experience; 7 to 9 years of previous site buyer experience in electronicsCollins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
