Role Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Provides Compliance advisory support to an LSEG regulated or non-regulated business/legal entity in order to ensure the organisation complies with all applicable regulatory requirements or relevant best practices.
- Carries out analysis activities in accordance with the Compliance monitoring, business strategy, and assurance plan, including global regulatory analysis, findings and production of data driven reports.
- Maintains the rules of a specific LSEG business/legal entity and handles client queries on them, acting as a communication channel between the regulated business/legal entity and its regulator(s).
- Maintains general understanding of Product Life Cycle and collaborates with regulated and non-regulated businesses to track trends related to product lines with a clear or potential regulatory impact.
- Keeps abreast of, and provides relevant analysis on, the impact of the latest regulatory developments on the regulated and non-regulated business/legal entity and provides advice on new regulations as well as keeping policies and procedures up to date.
- Supports Central Compliance function in the areas of developing policy, monitoring operations, researching impact of breaches, and best practices as well as the development and maintenance of Compliance risk management and monitoring.
- Produces and publishes member articles, where appropriate.
- Works to support wider FC team in support of the overall FC framework by being a Financial Crime practitioner of a specific area.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or equivalent and / or relevant professional qualification
- Previous related experience
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, business requirements, asset classes and market function
- May be a financial crime practitioner
