We enable customer, pricing & promotion strategies across the global markets through our focused capabilities of Sales Execution, Trade & Strategic Revenue Management and Category Management. Teams within function are aligned to the above focused capabilities for each of our markets and each team member specializes in domains of Advanced Analytics, Visual Insights & Planogramming.We are a family of Data analysts, Business analysts and Business Consultants with diverse opinions, cultures and passions and are united by our desire to serve the world by making food people love. We apply the principles of analytics to everything we do, constantly experimenting to discover new ways to add value to our stakeholders, customers, and team members.Purpose of the roleThe role will be responsible for working on and managing a team purposed to partner with the US Trade Planning & Capabilities team. It needs to build a strong integrated & sustainable partnership across Trade organization by delivering solutions through sophisticated reporting/tool building and superior presentations/visuals to drive RNS and profitability goals across OUs (Operating Units), categories, and customers.He/ She must have a strong grasp of business acumen and use their thought leadership to make calculated decisions to influence how projects & capabilities shape up - this includes leveraging well-conceived proof of concepts. Understand the nuances of trade & pricing and deliver solutions through the team leveraging various data modelling & analytical techniques and industry best practices.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESProcess Excellence and Advance Capabilities/ Analytics

  • Lead projects with high levels of accountability and ownership, effectively managing conversations and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Regularly evaluate business performance and come up with Trade analysis ideas to proactively address business concerns.
  • Responsible for ideation and modifying/implementing best practices to the concerned team and beyond.
  • Act as a POC/SME for Operating Unit/ Brand / Regional specialist for Global Markets to drive trade efficiencies. Should be able to identify the business trends and other economic trends during the Trade Key Initiatives.
  • Comprehend the brand and business strategy, fluidly connect the dots between various performance indices and find synergies in process and lead execution.
  • Enable standardization across different processes/markets within and across verticals by introducing differential thinking.
  • Accelerate engagement with current/ new markets by building a brand for self/process and displaying strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Marketing & cross selling capabilities at organizational forums and rationalizing approaches
  • Establish and advance sound statistical modelling & forecasting capability to enable Trade strategies.

  • Develop SMEs within the team (including self) and secure cost savings by driving process transformation.

  • Drive and comply with CI by identifying opportunities to automate, eliminate, standardize, outsource & enable value.
  • Collaborate across the organization to identify synergies, drive standardization & create HMM.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Full Time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory)
  • Education - Full Time Masters from an accredited university (Mandatory).
  • Intermediate/ High proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to complete given tasks with accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced & changing environment.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset with technical agility.
  • Multitasking ability - learn and implement a host of tools/databases and softwares/platforms.
  • Basic/Intermediate with data manipulation and visualization packages (i.e. Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx, Spotfire,GCP,DataPrep).
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with peers & stakeholders.
  • Strong Story telling skills with Selling & Influential Communication.
  • Design, execute and market Proof of Concept
  • 1-2 yrs of team handling experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Masters degree
  • 3-4 years of relevant Business Reporting, Analytics & Visualization experience in CPG (or related) industry.
  • Experience with market data analysis tools is required (experience working with ACNielsen and IRI data preferred.)

  • CPG or retail experience highly valued including Customer planning & execution.
  • Expertise in General Mills USRO Trade planning cycle & concepts.
  • Expertise in POS & Shipment data, recognizing patterns for GMI categories and/or customers.
  • Familiarity with syndicated data sets (Nielsen/IRI/SPINS), Financial data, trade system data
  • 4-5 yrs of Experience partnering with teams to create visualizations & models (Tableau, financial, econometrics, machine learning)
  • Experience in Modern Trade & SRM.
