Job Purpose:
As an Assistant Manager of sales - MRO products, your role is to drive revenue and business development for a top brand. This role involves overseeing and managing the sales of maintenance and repair operations products in various projects, collaborating with key stakeholders such as consultants, PMCs, architects, end users, contractors, and government entities.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve Revenue Target: This involves identifying opportunities, understanding project requirements, pitching the product and achieving the revenue target.
- Working with Key Stakeholders: Collaborate and build relationships with key stakeholders, including end-users, electrical consultants, architects, contractors, and government agencies.
- Product demonstration/training to customers to have desired product approval. Well-versed in conducting product trials, and successfully demonstrate product USPs to end customers.
- Collaborate with Existing Teams: Work closely with other teams within the organisation to leverage their resources, expertise, and networks to expand the reach of the business. This collaborative approach aims to maximize the brand\'s presence and revenue.
What is required for this role:
- Techno-commercial abilities: A strong understanding of both the technical aspects and commercial aspects of products, along with the ability to lead sales initiatives effectively.
- Strong connect with specifiers: Building and maintaining relationships with Architects/Consultants/contractors in the MRO (maintenance and repair operations) industry is essential for success in this role.
- Integrity: Uphold a high level of honesty and ethical conduct in all business dealings.
- Go Getter: Display a proactive and determined attitude in pursuing sales and business development opportunities.
- Positive attitude, self-driven: Maintain a positive outlook and demonstrate self-motivation in achieving sales and business objectives.
- Technical Training: Provide necessary technical training to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in sales and business development, preferably in the same industry.
