We are looking for an Assistant Manager Sales for our Formates business based in Mumbai.


In this role you are actively responsible to Drive Sales for Perstorp's Advanced Chemicals & Solutions business in the region.

Work assignments include,

• Grow Perstorp Sodium and Calcium Formate business in India.
• Handle existing customers as well as find new customers.
• Margin management
• Maintaining market and opportunity data in Salesforce.
• Maintain MIS for assigned customers and market conditions.
• Customer mapping for Formates business both direct customers and secondary sales.
• Competition profile and price mapping on a regular basis.
• Import data analysis in order to understand market scenario, competition activity, customer buying pattern and identify new customers.
• Close interaction with respective Business unit for product pricing and selling strategies in line with company ambitions.
• Co-ordination with Customer Service function for order processing and timely delivery of customer orders.
• Payment follow-up and ensuring timely payments by customers.
• Effectively use company software and tools like Forecasting, Cognos, Salesforce etc.

Your qualifications

• Candidate holding Chemistry or Science Degree MBA will be an added advantage
• Sales Experience of about 7 to 8 years from Specialty Chemicals Industry in a multinational set up.
• Experience of working with distributors.
• Experience of selling import and locally produced material.
• Well versed with written and oral English
• Technical competency in MS office especially PowerPoint and Excel
